A Portable Planetarium Event with Andy Cohen

Andy Cohen will be at the Elloree Heritage Museum & Cultural Center, Inc. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. He will explain “The Great American Eclipse” which will occur on Monday, August 21, 2017.

Andy Cohen has been a professional educator since 1993 and has been teaching, training teachers, and developing curriculum using a portable planetarium for 14 years. He has extensive experience working with elementary, middle and high school classes, early childhood, and special needs students. In 2013, Andy creat-ed the script and lessons for the TED Ed video What Creates A Total Solar Eclipse? Available on You Tube, viewed over 125,000 times.

Reservations are required and may be made by calling the museum.
There will be three times available: 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, and 7:00 pm.
Each program is limited to 10—15 people thus it is important to be on time.
Donations will be accepted to help cover expenses.
