''The Wizard of Oz''

Tickets are on sale now for the Jr. Orangeburg Part-Time Players' production of "The Wizard of Oz," the beloved musical adventure based on L. Frank Baum's classic tale about Dorothy, her little dog Toto and their adventures over the rainbow. Show times are 7 p.m. Friday, July 28, 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday, July 29, and 3 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at the BlueBird Theatre in downtown Orangeburg. Doors open an hour before each show. All reserved seats are $12, and tickets must be paid for no later than Sunday, July 23, or they will be subject to resale. Tickets are available at the theater from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through July 20. Park in the lot behind the theater off Amelia Street and enter through the light blue backstage door. The front lobby box office will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, July 23-26, and an hour before each show. Purchase your tickets early, as these shows sell out fast.
