DESCRIPTION:The CROWN Group and the Miss Orangeburg County and Miss Orangeburg County Teen Scholarship Organization officials announced today the sixth annual Miss Orangeburg County and Miss Orangeburg County Teen and Miss Garden City and Miss Garden City Teen Scholarship Competitions will be held on November 4\, 2017 at 6:30 pm. The Miss Orangeburg County and Miss Orangeburg County Teen Scholarship Organization is proud to welcome contestants from around the state of South Carolina to the competition\, which will take place in at a location to be announced\, in Orangeburg\, South Carolina.\nMiss Orangeburg County and Miss Orangeburg County Teen Scholarship and Miss Garden City and Miss Garden City Teen Organization Local Executive Board said they are impressed with the caliber of this year's contestants already. ''We are very pleased with the number of intelligent\, ambitious and talented young women who have entered the competition\,'' Local Executive Director Angela Clark said. ''We are continuing to accept applications until October 21\, 2017. With the number of outstanding contestants\, it will be a challenging task for the judges to choose not only one set as the next Miss Orangeburg County and Miss Orangeburg County Teen\, but also another as Miss Garden City and Miss Garden City Teen 2018.\nContestants will compete in several phases of competition at the competition\, including Private Interview\, Physical Fitness\, On Stage Question\, Evening Gown and Talent\, During the competition\, each contestant will also discuss her chosen platform\, a social or community issue of concern to herself and our society at large.\n\nEstablished in 2013\, the Miss Orangeburg County and Miss Orangeburg County Teen and the Miss Garden City and Miss Garden City Teen Scholarship Organization provides opportunities for young women to achieve their personal and professional ambitions.
