DESCRIPTION:Call for Artists: Art On the Lawn\n\n \n\nBlackville— In an effort to expose the surrounding counties of the Region 3 Discovery Center to the artistic talents of SC Artisans\, the Region 3 Discovery Center hosts its first Art On Lawn event on Saturday\, October 13\, 2007 from 10an-5pm. Art On Lawn is a public event where artists can demonstrate and sell their arts and crafts in an open market environment.\n\n \n\nArtists 18 and over eligible to participate in the following media: painting\, drawing\, metal\, jewelry\, sculpture\, pottery\, printmaking\, photography\, glass\, and fiber. All artwork must be presented in professional manner. Space is limited to 2 tables per booth and artists must provide their own tables and chairs. The deadline for participating artists has been extended to October 1\, 2007.\n\n \n\nTo obtain an artist space application or more information\, please contact the Region 3 Discovery Center with SC National Heritage Corridor at (803) 284-3976 or blackvilledc@scprt.com.
