DESCRIPTION:Last April\, Americans turned in 450 tons (900\,000 pounds) of prescription drugs at almost 5\,500 sites operated by the DEA and more than 4\,200 of its state and local law enforcement partners.  \n\nOverall\, in its 13 previous Take Back events\, DEA and its partners have taken in over 8.1 million pounds more than 4\,050 tons of pills. You can help get unused or expired medications off the streets by turning yours in at the \n\nPiggly Wiggly at 2526 Old Edisto Drive in Orangeburg\n\non\n\nOctober 28th from 10:00 am   2:00 pm.  \n\nEvery day people are using prescription drugs that are found in dumpsters\, trash cans\, or taken from medicine cabinets in a robbery or from a friend or family member.   Help our community by going through your medicine cabinet and taking them to the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Dept Collection Site at Piggly Wiggly on October 28th.
